Our Program

We present for our children a non-academic, child centered program with: long periods of uninterupted free time, few restrictions on exploration, parents acting as facilitators, lots of outdoor time. Through hands-on experiences children learn about visual art, language arts, science, cooking, drama, gardening and physical motor skills. Adults learn parenting skills from certified Parent Educators who teaches classes on Monday evenings. Because parents invest time and energy in the administration of preschools program, tuition remains inexpensive and affordable.

2's Program: Lady Bugs

Attend with parents on Friday mornings from 9:00 to 11:30 and every other Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 11:30. Activities include: singing, sharing stories, getting messy with our favorites – shaving cream, paint and playdough.

This is a great way to meet other parents in the community.

3's Program: Caterpillars

Attend school three days a week: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:30. Twice a month, they participate in a gymnastics program at Redwood Empire Gymnastics from 9:00 to 10:00 in lieu of a regular class. Each parent has a workday one day a week and acts as a facilitator for students in their exploration and discovery play.

4's Program: Butterflies

Attend school four days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 to 11:30. In addition to the semi monthly gymnastics they get to go on fieldtrips every Wednesday. Parents are encouraged to join the weekly excursions. Each parent has a workday one day a week and acts as a facilitator for students in their exploration and discovery play.
